all those chemicals where i work at kills braincells. by the way working in a big rig with the doors closed and windows up while painting works wonders for you

its where they take wood and clean the appearance of the tunk area

I know what your talking about and NOOOO, dont do it. I think it looks awful.

Maybe its becuase Im used to seeing all the contours and stuff and then all of a sudden, flatness...just isnt right.

He's talking about lining the inside of the trunk with MDF board to flatten everything out....

Sometimes I wonder, "Why is that frisbee getting bigger?" And than it hits me.

Um, don't do it?

Get the original (repro) cloth cover thing. They look great lining the trunk of the classic stangs, even tho the patterns are usually god awful!

The only good thing about boxing it is itll allow you to mount things in your tunk on flat surfaces without drilling the sheetmetal...Battery relocation, amp, sub, etc etc and will also keep your electronics away from that time bomb also back there...

If you do, make sure you carpet that ****, not just wood...

Yeah, it would, but it ruins the look at the same time. Hell any amp in the back of a classic would ruin the look. Mounting the battery back there isn't a bad idea, but you definately need some sort of barrier between than and the bomb.

A buddy of mine has the trunk carpeted, just like a 'modern' car. I really liked that look just the molded black carpet to keep those ugly liner patterns away
