Default Transplant issues

I transplanted a 302 out of a '76 grenade into my '66. It has an electronic box and i would like to get rid of that, will the distributor work if wired through a coil ?

you your original dististributor, actually the etup is quite reliable id peraonlly keep it unless you trying to look stock

So what you are saying is use the '76 dist and wire it.... due to the reliability ?
