Default Dress Kit

Son is looking for a nice chrome dress kit for christmas but with so many out there I don't know which one to go with. Any suggestions on which way to go for a 67 289 mustang coupe. Thanks

You can't go wrong with FoMoCo parts. A nice set of aluminum 'Cobra' or 'Ford Racing' valve covers are hard to beat. Coupled with a nice open Ford Racing air filter and your in there like swimwear.

Here are a few shots of mine. They are Ford Racing. Air, Cleaner, Oil Pan and Valve covers.

You can check out www.mustangokla.com/ I have personally bought from these guys and have been to the actual store in Oklahoma City. I thought they had good pricing and a wide selection. Also, check out www.dallasmustang.com/ they have a good selection too and I have bought from them. I've seen a lot of pretties/shinies at these two places and bought a couple myself. Hope this helps.

I would get aluminum valve cover rather than the stamped steel ones. I think they look better and they also seal better, therefore less chance of them leaking.

I have aluminum on all three of my stangs,Valve Covers,Air Breather, they are all Ford Products!!They fit the best and less chance of oil leaks on the Valve Covers.Depends a lot on how much $ you have to spend and what your tastes are.Good Luck and Merry Christmas!![8D]
