Yeh, it looks nice. I would let the car adjust for a few months before I started cutting the springs. That BIG 385 series up front will yeild ample horsepower and more important, torque. What heads? Anyway, its gotta be a blast.

Let's see if I can answer everyone's questions,
Clone? It is kind of a clone I guess. I always wanted a Shelby, but even back in the day I couldn't afford one. When I started this project I had the Shelby in mind. I was going to use a 68 nose. Since I had a hardtop I was thing of a "Little Red" or "Green Hornet" kinda thing. I had done the rear of the car early on but had the stock 67 front-end. In 2000 when the movie came out I knew I needed the Eleanor nose. I have had the car 17 years but haven't worked on it a solid 17, I only worked on things when time and money allowed. It was primer for many years so switching gears on the E nose wasn't a big deal.
This is what it looked like most of those years.
The 5 leaf springs I bought from Mustangs Plus...
The engine is a 1970 429 with the DOVE heads. TRW forged flat top pistons (10.5:1) and a SCJ cam profile. Holley 770 and MSD. She has gobs of torque!

whats up with your door handles?
Thanks for all the compliments. I know a lot of people couldn't see my vision of what it would be, and now I can finally show them a near finished product.

I really like the front, I am guessing that is the Eleanor apron. Think I have to stick with the R-model apron. I have a 66 coupe and was wondering, do you know if the side skirts fit on a 66 and is it cosmetic or do you have your exhaust run to them? Car looks amazing man, keep up the great work.
