I really like the front, I am guessing that is the Eleanor apron. Think I have to stick with the R-model apron. I have a 66 coupe and was wondering, do you know if the side skirts fit on a 66 and is it cosmetic or do you have your exhaust run to them? Car looks amazing man, keep up the great work.
The "bolt-on" rocker panels will work without the flares and should fit the 66 also. I do have the Eleanor kit from Maier racing. I filled the notches they had in the lower opening for the lights because I used the 67 Shelby grille.
They are funtional, I have to get the exhaust made but they will exit thru the holes/
Thanks for the compliments too
4reboy,
Thanks for the comment on the stance, I like it too, many have said I should lower the rear... what do you guys think?

No problem, I tend to like the more staggered look. Then again maybe thats because it looks great on the 69 body style so I'm biased . But with your aggressive looking car, I think the more aggressive stance looks great.

Craig!
That car is looking sooo good. And these pics really showcase what you have there. It looks great. Personally I think the stance looks great like it is. It looks fast and aggressive. If you were to drop the back, it would look sweet too. Mine is pretty level so I obviously like that look but you may as well enjoy it the way it is for awhile and see how you feel down the road. You might want to drop the rear or you might not but I wouldn't rush it. 17 years into the project... why start rushing now? Congratulations on building one helluva car. Thanks for the update!!

Thanks everyone for all the comments. For so long this car has been just a pile of parts or a primered half done project. My 3 sons all just got used to it being a "project" and my wife never threatened me to get rid of it but I think she would have liked the extra garage space. Somehow after all the years of dreaming and hoping I still stayed with it. So many times I could have sold it or something. I had it before my wife and I got married any of my boys were born. I've changed jobs and moved to different states.
It has become a part of me and my family, but I guess after a while I just figured it would always be a "project" I never finished. I still may never have it "finished" but at least it looks like something now.
I drove it around Friday and it really did turn heads! Hearing your comments really makes me feel good. I wasn't sure how many would share my vision. I really thank you all for your opinions!
