Default RE: rebuilding my suspension

The car will be for track (road-racing)use. So I need some recommendations on stiff shocks and spring combo. Ride comfort is not a problem, I just want the carto handle VERY GOOD! BTW, I aready have disc brakes & 1" sway bar.
My plan was to get :
(FRONT)
- GlobalWest UCA & LCA
- ST strut rods
- 1 1/8" sway bar
- Roller perches
- ?shocks?
-?springs?
- shelby drop
(REAR)
- 4.5 mid-eye springs

any thoughts?...

hey Daze how bought you come drive my car and tell me what it needs because i have everything above the ***** except adjustable strut rods, subframe connect, 620's instead of 500, and no r&p. and it drives like a bus...lol
Bring it to Montana and I would be happy to take for a "test drive" [8D] My car once drove like a bus. It was right after I installed a set of blue 1" drop 620 coil springs and stock springs. Most of the problem went away when I went to stiffer shocks and softer springs. The adjustable strut rods would also improve the ride by allowing the suspension to move more freely.

Someone told me for go with kyb shocks and 750 springs. Would this be better than 620 springs?

For the springs, anyway - it depends. Partly on what the rest of the specs in the overall setup look like, and partly on the specific course(s).

I doubt that either of the KYB's (or any other mass-market replacement level shock, for that matter) are up to properly handling that much spring rate as far as developing best lateral grip is concerned. They may even ride reasonably well in the beginning, but for any given spring you want much less shock damping for best ride than you need for best performance anyway. I can't comment much on the rear without knowing something about what rate springs are back there now (lbs/in) vs what was OE. But FWIW I wouldn't even think about putting the GR-2's with springs any more than 10% stiffer than base OE, or Gas-A-Justs with anything beyond maybe 40% or so stiffer.

I went with Koni's and 620 springs up front. The Koni's are adjustable and well built.

The rest of the suspension/steeringis as follows;
- GlobalWest UCA & LCA
- GlobalWest strut rods
- TCP Power steering
- TCP bump steer kit
- TCP subframe kit
- 1 1/8" sway bar Front
- 3/4" sway bar on the rear
- Roller perches
- Koni adjustables on front and rear
-620lb front springs & 5 leaf reverse eye ( Grab-a-track )
- shelby drop

Also
- Traction Master bars
- Axle upgrades- Nodular case, TruepTrac, 31 spline Yukon axles.
- Flaming River collapsible steering coumn/wheel
-American Racing Cobra custom wheels, 8", 4.5" BS front, 9.5" 5.25" BS back

No idea how it rides yet, as the subframe kit is now being installed.
