Default 66 coupe questions

I looked at quite a few places already and can't seem to find the 1/4 panels for the interior on the sides of the back seat. I never noticed them in my car and I am starting to think they don't have them or am I just looking in the wrong places?

I also heard that to do the headliner, I need to take out the front and back windows, is that true?

Lastly, I plan on doing the disc brake swap and buy a 9" 5 lug for the back. If I have 4 wheel disc, should I go with power brakes or will the wilwood MC alone be sufficent? Can someone also narrow it down for me on a few rear ends that are bolt in and don't need shortening? I am new to Fords so please be patient and sorry if I asked too many questions.

The interior quarter panels can be found here

not sure about the headliner but it sounds logical, in order to get a good tight seal.

You can never be too cautious with brakes. It really depends on how much power you are planning on making, but to be on the safe side get the power brakes. Its a greater investment in the long run.

Thanks for the help. I looked at that site already and they have the upholstery for all models but not the panels for a 66 coupe, only convert and fastback. Thanks again though, I don't plan on going fast right now, I just want to get the car together and painted so I can drive this summer. Next winter will be engine swap, brakes, rear end. I plan on putting in a carbed 302 or 351, maby around 400 hp. Auto transmission, bad leg and don't have the strength to push a clutch in. I am undecided between a full manual valve body or an auto/manual C-4. Power brakes will be better though. thanks.

used a butter knife 2 putty knifes 1st was approx 1 1/4" the other approc 3 1/2 wide with the edges rounded off to tuck the edges under the gaskets,,, like the instuctions say lay out the headliner to "relax it" to remove some of the wrinkles, I found that a quart or contact cement from home despot works as well as the little expensive container that you get on the web, keep the ceiling ribs? in the right order/position, and don't forget insulation for the ceiling,,, insulating wise I don't think it's worth beans but it does help take out wrinkles, also you may want to buy the rear rib? retaing hooks to play it safe as you need them to keep things tight,, after that a drop cloth for the interior if it's installed and take your time,,,, a local outfit want 250.00 to do the job the headliner was only 25.00 so I could aford to screwupt and try it again,,,, your call ,,I thinks it's doable and done,, just take your time, like they said above theirs articles to help,, good luck
