'66 drums to disc conversion

Default '66 drums to disc conversion

i wanted to know what i would need to change everythign over from drums to disc in my 66 but just in the front end of the car, not the rear, i got some discs and am gonna get some calipers soon, but i wanted to know what else i am going to need and what woud i need to do. thanks a lot

New bearings, splash guard, brake line hoses, pads, spindle...best to strip a donor car all at once.

Agreed, unless you want to spend a thousand dollars for an aftermarket setup, go to the junk yard and buy the entire front end brake system from a late 70's model Ford Granada or Mercury Monarch. Don't forget to get the dual master cylinder and distribution block along with all the hoses. You can have the donor spindle turned and buy new pads.
