Left Hand Drill Bits

Left Hand Drill Bits
Looking for someone here who has purchased left handed drill bits and where they got them from. Been told they work great for removing broken studs as they spin the same way as removing the bolt.
I know Irwin, Snap-On, and Hanson sells them on the web, but wanted to know if anyone was able to find them at a local store? I checked Sears and didn't see them in the store (their webpage has a set, web only). What about NAPA, Lowes, etc?

RE: Left Hand Drill Bits
I don't have any left hand drill bits, but an easy-out can be used after first drilling a hole with a standard rotation bit so I'm not sure there is the need for the special ones.

I work as a Manufacturing Engineer for a company that has a fair sized machine shop, I also supervise the forsaid machine shop.
you want to try MSC direct.
www.mscdirect.com
Their prices are decent, and they have everything you could possibly need for metalworking.
They will have left hand drills in HSS, Cobalt and solid carbide.
I would recomend a good cobalt drill, coated is ok too.I usually get the Precision twist brand drill, they are a little more expensive, but like everything else, you get what you pay for.
