Carb size for turbo's
OK, I was reading the thread about the 650 being too big and now it has me thinking. I think I have reached a decision with the engine on my wives 65 Fastback build. I had planned to start in November but a friend still has my rotisserie and will wait untill I have it back. This is what I have in mind so far and have the parts. A 302 with Roush 200 stage 3 heads. Good internals. Twin rear mount turbos (I need). I have a 750 Holley that is new and would like to use. My question, is it too big for this set up, or can it be re-jetted to work?

RE: Carb size for turbo's
You need to rebuild your carb for a blowthrough setup, or buy the correct carb. I use this site for good answers on high HP setups...

RE: Carb size for turbo's
I have a 347 with a novi 1200 I had a local carb guy build my 750 holly. He set it up for blow thru. Nitrate floats so they dont crush under pressure and a few other seals and some how made it where it will flow 850 under boost.
He does all the carbs and tuning for year one and goodmark and a lot of local racers here around Atlanta.
It cost me about $650 as opposed to the $1200 the carb shop quoted me for the same thing.
