Default Rim and backspacing question for '67

I have a '67 Mustang Convertible with the factory 4 lugs. I have a question about backspacing. I don't have the money or expertise to do a 5 lug conversion, so I have came up with a possible solution. Can someone tell me if this will work!??!?

I was considering getting the adapter to convert from 4 lug to 5 x 4.5". AND then buying a set of bullett style wheels off of recent Mustang. So, I havea fewquestions...

1.) What is the size of the 4 lug pattern on a '67 Mustang ( 4 x ????)

2.) The adapter adds two inches to the hub, so how do I determine what kind of backspacing I need to be looking at?

3.) Has anyone tried these adapters as a quick fix?

let me know.

Never use a adapter or wheel spacer they can sheer your lugs off if you do hard braking or cornering.Id just wait save up my money to do the 5 lug right or find 4 lug rims you like theres a few out there not as many as the 5 lug.Its a 4x4.5 heres some that will fit it http://classicinlines.com/proddetail.asp?prod=REV-5SW i believe its the same 4 lug as hondas.
