ohhh,,, I thought you were going to leave it that ugly white-ish cream color.. I hope you go with the red to match your engine bay.. Cant wait! How about the falcon??
You mean the "Desert Sand" Color? I knew that color had to go as soon as I first laid eyes on the car.. It will be the same red, I cant wait either.

The falcon is going to need to wait for a while, I have to get my daughters "other brand" 64 P/U truck done first..

But my mind is really on that Falcon......

I lost track when we got our cars blasted David, how long did it ultimately take for paint and body? How long to put it back together do you think?

I got my car back from blasters on 6/25/07 and I picked up my car from the bodyshop last friday which was 12/14/07. So my car was in paint and body for a little over 5 months

and I'm not sure how long it took you to put yours back together (seemed pretty quick) but I should/hope to have MOST of mine together by the end of my three week vacation, I go back to school January 7th I believe. I've assembled some and polished stuff already, and have finished about 90% of my sound deadening, now just all the hard to reach spots!

Congrats on getting your car back! Cant waith to see it.

The body shop tells metwo to three weeks, judging from prior experience with other shops, I think the this might be bodyshop language for "don't even talk to me about it for at least 6 weeks"....

David,

Mine took me about two weeks to put back together, but one of them was a solid week as I took a "home vacation". Be patient during the install, as new paint is SOFT!

Have fun!
