It looks like you are comeing along just great.. You are doing top notch work from what I see, and that is going to be one bad a$$ toy! What are you dropping in the engine bay? Those AFR heads are going to bring that old block back to life..

We went through the 289 with a .030 clean-up, installed a roller cam, roller rockers, wieand intake with a new holley 650 double pumper. Ceramic coated headers from Stan's in Seattle. It's an original 4 spd car, and we checked out the toploader... I am installing the 1" lowering leafs, and same for the coils in the front. I reference "we" because I'm doing all this with my 17 yr. old son.. he's lovin' it!

its a silver pearl.... like you see on the new infinitis, lexus... it was just an added step between the base coat and the clear...it's not like a regular pearl...no pink or blue tints..just silver. it turned out so much better than i expected.
