Has anybody repaired a cracked steering wheel
This is in my 65. There are two cracks like this. I know there are steering wheel restoration places but I'm not into spending that kind of money. I could replace it but the car isall original and my hope is to change out as little as possible. I was thinking of maybe dying two part epoxy to the color and pushing it into the crack and then wiping any excess off.

RE: Has anybody repaired a cracked steering wheel
Por-15 makes a steering wheel resto kit for cracks just like yours. I haven't used it myself, but I have used some of their other products. In the brochure it looks like you sand down the area and fill in the cracks with an epoxy, sand again, then paint/dye.
