As many of you know I am installing the pony steering wheel I restored (below) in to my 62 Galaxie.

Any way I purchased the G A L A X I E 5 0 0 emblems off eBay from a 67 Galaxie and plan on using the G in the center of the center cap

My question is sense the car is black and white should I make the section behind the G black to match the steering wheel or white as an accent like on the car????? If I make it white I may have the G powder coated in black to match the wheel, what do you think.

If you have other white accents, then I would go with white. If it will be on the only white piece in the interior, then I would go with black.

The interior is white and black with a little bit of burgundy. The car was original chream and burgundy and I couldn't bear to wast a perfectly good dash pad so I left just enough of the burgundy to make it look good.

Well, if there is just a little bit of burgundy, why not use burgundy instead of white or black? Not sure if it would work without seeing your interior, but its a thought.

i think black would look better...it would contrast better with the G in my opinion.

I was thinking the samething if you go with the black G, that might look cool with the burgundy background.
