I'm replacing the floor pan support extensions on my 66 coupe. I'd like position them in the correct factory position but I'm having a hard time justifying what I'm reading from the shop manual. I have a cd version of the Ford gereral body service manual and the diagramn in Chapter 17-5 shows a measurement of 73.78" from the front of the framerail to the center of the drainhole behind the crossmember on the extension.

That all fine and good but the sum of the length of the frame rail and the extension do not even equal 73.87"
Does any one know if this is a misprint? and know the correct measurement? I do not have a reliable reference to measure and get the dimension myself.

I'm not even sure what you mean by floor pan support extensions. If you had some pics about what you mean someone on here can just messure their car.

Sorry. I'm not sure what else to call it. It's the frame rail extensions that support the floor. He're a picture I ripped from another website.
