If possible you should have someone use one of those engine builder programs and let them know your setup and see what power each combo would make.

I think all of the carbs you selected are good except I think the BG 725 might be a little too big, rumor is that a BG of a certain CFM rating is a little bigger than other carbs of the same rating. But then again we are running a BG 750 cfm Mighty Demon on the 408, it seems neither too big or too small.

Might consider an RPM Air Gap intake if going with the big BG carb.....

+1 for a 650ish carb and a performer rpm. something between a barry grant 625 road demon and the holley 670 street avenger would be good

For a C, definitely go with the slightly higher RPM manifold at a 650 at least. Even if you don't plan on a big cam, this setup will let your C run more like it should.

I agree, maybea slightly larger carb but everyone knows that the edelbrock carbs are great for out of the box performance, but grants and holleys prove to be better when it comes to fine tuning,

I suggest going with an RPM manifold, i wouldn't not go with a torker, he is looking for low end torque, you want to make sure you get a dual plane manifold...

I wanted to go with the air gap but I put some clay on the air filter and closed the hood to check my clearance and I didn't have enough clearance for the air gap

Oh well this car runs like a whole different beast, the difference is like night and day, just driving daily I had to floor the pedal when passing and sometimes under normal acceleration, now just normally driving I just have to feather the pedal really.

I cant wait to open it up once I find a big empty open road.
