Default RE: 4 link

I'd go with the Evolution 3 link kit, but that's just me. The CE 4-link Universal kit has the advantage of a LARGE range of adjustability. It may require fabrication when compared to other purpose built kits, but it costs far less(being universal) and it has about 10x more adjustability for dialing the car in.

You'd also need shocks/springs for the 4 link setup, which CE also has, or you can get them elsewhere.

That's if you want a 4 link. For a street/track car I'd go with avehicle specific 3 link for a mix of forward bite and handling, plus it bolts in, and you don't need to fabricate.

problem with all the 3 links is they bolt up to the existing leaf spring mount so you do not gain anymore room for larger tires.

The Martz rear set up is ok if you dont mind welding how big of a tire and rim you going for.

As big as possible. probably try to run a 18x9 with 5.5' backspacing and fit a tire that look sjust right. as far as welding, I would prefer to weld somethin in.

You do gain a little. The links aren't quite as wide as the leaves, and can be offset to the insides of the bracketsfor a little more. Not much, to be sure, but sometimes there's only a quarter inch or so between 'go' and 'no-go'. IOW, not enough to put 305-width tires on where 245's are already tight, but it could be worth 20 or 30 mm difference in tire size unless clearance to something else becomes the limiting factor.

thanx norm. I think i am going to order this martz system. it seems like a true 4 link and looks like it will really brace the rear end. the welding will be fun nd i always enjoy a little fab. The 3 links are just too expesive plus i dont plan on doing any autocross. just drags.

4 links are good for drag racing, especially if they have a lot of adjustability.
