Default Convertible Top Fit

My front top doesn't fit well. Seems to be bowed and doesn't lie down flat on top of the windshield frame. Any way to correct that? Is there a foam or rubber piece that is supposed to go between the top and the windshield?

This is a common problem of having a beauty queen park her rump on the frame in a parade. You can try to bow it back with the help of a friend or two by laying a2X4 under that bow (top down) and pressing down on the ends. Be careful though. I don't think their is anything else but the welt that seals the bow aginst the windshield. A piece of weather stripping on the bow is a good idea though. They all seem to leaka little anyway.

Thanks. I'll try that. Maybe I'll get the 68 beauty queen to sit on it again. She might have put on enough pounds to bend it back!!!
