Oftenwhenadding fiberglass (and sometimes steel) repops on a car they have to be massaged and fit.
Kind of like when you used to build models as a kid. You could take your timeand fit the pieces,or slap it together and hope for the best.

Slapping it together and hope for the best is me. I have spent maybe 4 hours now on this part. I have checked, cut, rechecked, and recut. And i am still only half way done. Have to use some force on it. If you have this product be prepared for some work.
Ps- Is the opening supposed to be flat or angled up? So far my opening is angling up.

It isn't that. Found out you have to cut it to fit. The latch is 1 problem, but not the only 1. Getting the valance bolt holes to line up is another. I had to use a longer bolt to make 1 move about 3/4 in. up and over. Took me about 30 min to do that. Will post pics tomorrow after i finish.
Watch out when cutting fiber glass. It makes you very itchy.
