Default Spark Plug Wires

I just bought a new set of wires (FORD RACING) for my 67 and of course they dont fit the dist. cap. Im running a mallory. What wire should I use? I want to use 8mm-9mm wires.

what do you mean they dont fit? you mean they are both male/female? those wires are fine, they are what i use. if you mean they are too loose just pinch the boots a bit.

edit* if its your stock distributor then you dont need to use 9mm. 8 or 8.5 would be just fine. you can pick up a set of good motorcraft wiresat a local auto parts store.

my dist. cap holes are too big for the wire boot to fit over.

damn you might have to get mallory wire then...Thats okay its good too but they might not let you return the other wire.

I know with MSD that its also different than stock and I think you have to use MSD wire with it as well...I know I am...Also great wire.

I have msd in right now but i want the 45 deg boot, so i know those work. my msd wires i have right now melted when the touched my new heads. I think i will just bring my old wire into the store and see what options they have.
