Dont discount eBay simply because you had 1 bad experience. I've bought and sold over 1000 items on eBay and can count the bad sellers I've dealt with on 1 hand. Look to see if they have sold before, are they giving you a good detailed description of the item, check to make sure their feedback is good. Always pay with a credit card for anything major as this allows you to get your money back if there is a problem. Always check what you receive the day you receive it!

EBay can be a great tool and there are MANY good, honest and safe sellers. Also checkout craigslist.org in your local area as you can usually find, contact and go pickup the item in person.

Here is the link to the HEI distributor that i bought on ebay. I know this particular item has expired but you should be able to find a current listing for it.The company gives a solid warranty on their product. I havent fired it up because the engine is still on the stand in the garage...looking forward to turning the key! One thing, you will need to buy gm style plug wires to fit onto the distributor. I purchased wires to fit a late 70s camero w/ a 305. They fit just right.
