fox body front cross member on a 66?

Default fox body front cross member on a 66?

my engine builder asked me if i wanted a calssic style oil pan or a small one so i could use the fox body cross member and front end. is there benefits to this? i am picking up the car from paint in a couple hours and ready to start putting it together. the engine will be here in about 2 weeks. i have time to make changes1

this is my first mustang. i not too familiar with all the options that are avail. i am however learning quickly do to this bad *** forum!

Use the front sump pan nothing on a fox body will fit a classic.

What engine is it? I would not go with a smaller oil pan.
