390 in a 65
I picked up a 1988 302 motor out of lincln for my 65 stang and a budy called me and asked if i wanted a 390.I told him no i didnt think it would fit but the more i thought about it,hm more power?Thought id ask.

Need to convert to an Mii style front end and remove the shock towers to fit it in.

A 390 wont fit with out cutting and welding. So you have to ask yourself, is it worth the pain in my *** to do it? [sm=badidea.gif]

A 351W will fit I had 1 in my 66 coupe & it was a fast !!!

A 289 will fit. I have one in a 66 mustang and it was fast too.
