I don't think the boss scoop looks half bad on the 67/68s!

yeah mines going to be Galaxy Gray with flat black on the hood

o well its ok were on the opposite side of the country. i aslo might do red with flat black hood.

As long as you are using a flat hood it should look good with a scoop. No scoop looks good on the turn signal hood though. IMO

Word...thanks for the resurrection of this post. I might have to switch to this configuration as well in order to fit dual quad set up on my FE 428 PI. I know that that scope was made for late in the 1968 model and only a few 68s made it out the door with that scoop. It's also a cool way to preserve the in-hood blinker system (which I have the Scott Drake sequential set up that I love) and still be able to run a scoop.

Thoughts? Will I get flamed at local car shows for having this 68-70s scoop on my 67?
