PICS my dads motor.
we're putting my dads motor in his stang this weekend. thought id take a few pics before its in. we've never seen those valve covers anywhere. he thought they were cool so he got em at Delta Bay Mustang.
i got my engine kit in today so i only a have a few more parts to order and mine will be complete. ill be posting pics of it in about a month.

looks nice. the only problem i see is the fuel pump you need a high performance one, i went through about 5 that looked like the one you have.

that chrome thermostat housing you have, i used to have that one, always leaked on me. i couldnt for the life of me get it to seal. goodluck with it, it also rusts after a few years, just a little heads up.

the car is a 1930 model A. dad got it when he was 12. had it ever since. he drove it in HS. tried restoring, didnt like the job, so like 15 years ago he began restoring it again. and its sat in our garage ever since.
the fuel pump should be fine. weve never had problems with em.
the chrome inlet works great. he had it on the motor before we rebuilt it. maybe you just dont use the right tools. try getting "The Right Stuff" silicone sealer. it works more than wonders. and its what you should use on the front and rear intake seals instead of the cork gasket.
