NEW member needs help with shelby part
so i restored my 67 coupe all option car, i have this burning question that i cannot find the answer to anywhere so i decided to log up for a forum and ask the web. when redoing my car my back side windows the metal mounting frame for the window had fomoco stamped on it and it also had a square with all caps SHELBY stamped into it? what are these and where are they from? i didnt have a camera then so sorry no pics. but heres my ride.

FYI...those pictures wont show up here unless you change the [IMG]'s to [img]....i think that will work. or just direct link em. I did paste the picture though. Looks like a nice car!

looks nice but whats up with the 6 lug wheels and the 10 inch spacers[8D] also might want to get some lighter tension hood springs so the hood will lay down in the rear as for the trim someone will chime never heard of that sorry

Shelby only producedtwo coupes both in 68, onecalled the "Green Hornet" that survives today, and the other "Little Red", that met its fate in the crusher. As far as I know, these are the only ones ever built. I have never seen that stamping in a quarter window and would be interested in seeing a photo.

thanks for all the comments! yes my hinges are sprung but as a college student i can only afford so much, the wheels *dont kill me* are off a chevy and i acquired them free of charge and the spacers are 2.5in making them sit even. so no one has heard of this? i can describe a little better when you take out your rear quarter window tracks window and all the actual metal bracket that holds the window slide rails and actually bolts to the framework of the car is what is stamped shelby
