I got mine off craigslist - it's a coupe though, but that and the other sites mentioned will be your best bet. BTW, I'd love to afford a dynacorn shell. Nice thing about that is you can seal it up and undercoat, etc, and build how you want it and not have to worry about it rusting away. It's a one of a kind build, not slapped together on an assembly line.

What's not to get, it's not a mustang fastback, it's a wannabe![IMO] You have to "steal" a vin # off of a real mustang!

Don't get me wrong, it's a nice body, but for $15,000, thats all you get! I will cost that much or more to build it. For that much, why not get a REAL one.
I'm not trying to convince anybody of anything, rather keeping an open mind on a product which can only help increase the availability of aftermarket and reproduction parts. After all, where do you think these reproduction cowl stampings are coming from ... Dynacorn.

Jeff, that is not exactlythe same. I hear what you are saying, but the difference between buying a fender vs buying a whole car is not really the same. Body panel, we really don't have a choice. With a FB, you can still buy one. The car is a kit, which is fine, but I don't think it is right to take a vin# off a mustang and call it a mustang. If you did that with any other car, they would throw you in jail! What about all the people who actually paid the price to own a fastback or a coupe. Half the beauty of having one of these cars is the fact it is a 40 year old car that you restored to mint condition. I may be the only one that feels like this and if this offend some people, I don't know what to say. TMO
