Cast Iron Water Pump On Aluminium Timing Cover

Hi guys!!

Just a question, I ordered an aluminium timing chain cover from Dallas mustangs and i have a cast iron water pump with me which i want to install on it. Will that work? Or do both metals need to be the same?

yeah just make sure to use antiseize on the bolts

You need to use Permatex #2 on the bolts that thread into the water jackets, not anti-sieze (although I would anti-size the rest).
