Connect my Kick Down Rod to Car
Hello all,
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but how di I connect my kick down rod to my edelbrock carb? I know thier are adapters that are sold, just dont know if i would need them or how they go. I have searched a little on older posts but havent been able to figure it out so I thought I would include a picture.

No, those are throttle cable adaptor brackets. You need the kickdown linkage. Look up the part on Edelbrock's site and punch the number into Summit

Ya know what, I lied, sorry. Those parts are what you need. The new throttle lever hasthe lower mounting hole for the kickdown. They used to call it a 'Ford kickdown lever kit' I thought. And iirc, 69's use throttle cables, so you'd need that throttle cable bracket as well.
