Default the 67 as of now

well haven't posted with pics of the car lately.. just got done with the steering today and mounted the front wheels on and temp mounted the steering wheel. finally she's off the jack stands

theres the 8.8" nestled nicely under the car

they don't even hang out (255/45/17)

now i do have a question. it's the grab a trak suspension with the supposed stock height in rear.. but doesn't the car look a little high? i mean.. it seems really high, but then again when i got the car they were de arched and it was like right on the wheels so.. but then again everything isn't settled so.. i don't know

got some of the interior in and done, covering the seats now so i can get those in, gotta drill a hole for the drivers side seatbelt in the floor pan since they didn't come with one.. other then that it's shaping up nicely. engine is being built and finished so i hope to have it on it's way to get an alignment and such within another week or so then it's off to paint

You have no engine in it, of course it's high. It'll drop back down.

Oops, thought you said the front!

Not sure on the rear, but I've heard it will raise the car slightly and settle a tad with time. Still seems just a bit too high though, IMO.

Looks fantastic though

The rear may look high because you were used to seeing sagging rear.

that's true thats what i was thinking, the original shape it was de arched and so low that i guess it just looks odd to me.. looking at my 98 on stock suspension it's about the same (Dune buggy style lol) so it's alright.. but the front should be 1" drop which i might notice when i get the engine in and it moves around some i guess

The car is coming along great. More than likely she will settle some. We just did the Grab a trak in my sons 64 with the reverse eye and a friends 68 with the mid eye system. Want to see how they sit before I begin my 67 vert. Wish my 67 was as far along as yours.
