WHEELS AND TIRES

RE: WHEELS AND TIRES
I've never really liked the big 17" wheels on the old classics myself. I'd rather see 15s (16s at most) with a nice sidewall on the tire and lots of rubber them. To me it looks better not to mention hitting a pothole doesn't kill the tire AND wheel! A decent sidewall on a nice big tire is much better then a big old wheel with a rubber band wrapped around it. Its damn near sexy!

RE: WHEELS AND TIRES
Dodestang, I'll be glad to submit any info for the tire and wheel size. These tires and wheels were given to me from a friend that decided to go a different route on his FFR Cobra. They came off of a late model Cobra Mustang that was traded in at the Ford dealer where he is the srvice director. Here is another picture, the car has a good rake to it. I know some folks prefer the level low look, but we like this look. Just as your car is a knockout, we get a lot of comments at car shows that love the look of ours. We have taken home numerous trophies for "peoples choice" and "best paint", we did ALL the work ourselves, just a father and a son in our home shop.

Hey dodgestang, I've seen your chart all over the place.

RE: WHEELS AND TIRES
I have 17x8's with 4.75" BS and 245/45/17's on the rear but I also have a 9" Lincoln Versailes rear axle which is narrower than stock so I needed some 1" spacers to get the track width to look right.
