I would like to upgrade the Distributor on my 72 302 engine to Electronic Ignition. I wanted to pull something off a Vehicle at the Salvage Yard. Does anyone know which Vehicles would make a good Donor?

Why not just drop a Pertronix or Crane electronic ignition modulein? Cheap and effective.

A friend of mine has been through 3 pertronix in the last few months. Not sure why they are burning out, but I prefer to stay away from them.....plus I wouldnt mind tinkering a little

I would stay away from Salvage yard electronics,you really do not know what you are getting and besides you could just get a new elec ignition module and be done quickly and Cheaply and you will know its NEW!!Good Luck with it!
