or vintage 40's

I like the V-48's in the pic. I must be one of the few who don't like the polished TT's

Its a tough call for me, i like both. I think the v-48's are more of a classic look, but the TT's look nice as well.

I am not up on wheels. I have looked at some but the 2 piece ones scare me. I lean toward he solid wheels. Am I wrong?. I am slipping the tires o the rims now and need new rear rubber. the beads are shot. I wonder if the 2 piece wheel will hold up.

ORIGINAL: 66ckurt

haven't you already gone thru a set? also anyone interested in the rims gotta remember i live in vancouver canada and rims aren't light
I wouldn't say I've gone through a set....I might have had to replace 1 after that little accident a couple years ago....but I have 6 of 'em now for the 65....it's just I have a 67 mustang now too and I am thinking of maybe taking the 14s of it when I replace the rubber.

As for shipping...I thought all Canadians vacationed at the Jersey Shore
I'll pick em up when you are at the beach.

I wouldnt call the v48's minilite replicas...there is no curve in the spoke.

Having said that, I think they look great and just a little more unique factor to them. There are a lot of TT2s out there.

V48s FTW

I agree with rmodel65; the 8 spokes look good with the flat paint, but the 5 spokes would look better with a shiny paint job.
