Default Colorado area engine rebuild

I am looking for a place to have my engine rebuilt in the Denver-ish area. I want a place that will work with me, and do a good job, but I dont want to be overcharged, and I am willing to travel a little for that to be accomplished. Here are some places that I have heard are good, let me know if you know anything about these, or if you know of a good place.

Blue Oval Performance

Ricks Auto Service

Pro Street Motors

Mountain-Side Engine Exchange

Smith Racing

Dettemer Automotive

Colorado Mustang

American Stang

Wessbecker Automotive

Havana Auto Machine

Heads by Paul

Redline Automotive

C&J Auto

The Speed Shop

J C Electric

Daves Auto in longmont

Here are some shops im gonna stay away from- Classic and Performance Mustangs (they screwed me over royally in the past), and western engine supply (some guy told me they are bad). Let me know if there are others to stay away from too.

As you can see I have a lot of options but I got all of those from posting an ad on criagslist for recommendations and it sounded like some people didnt really know for sure. Hence, I figured I should see how many Colorado residents there are here to figure out some good places to get quotes from. Thanks for the help.

I have many parts from Colorado Mustang on my car including the motor, tranny, and rear end. From my experience with them I would try somewhere else next time. Not that I have had any problems but I feel there is someplace better. Other than saying that....I cannot help much.

I can't help much either, but I will need a shop in the future for my engine needs. Good luck. Some guy gave me a card for Blue Oval Performance, said he was a good guy and knew his stuff.

I have had great luck with McCabe Motorsports in Colorado Springs. He built a race engine for me and it was bullet proof. He does good work and has resonable prices.
Here is the phone number: 719-591-8415

Shops to stay away from, Laniers speed center!
