Default IT RUNS!!!

So some of you know that my Mustang caught on fire and some of you don't. Well ON xmas, my engine bust into flames, and didn't do too much damage other than turn the carburetor black, and mess stuff up on the inside of the carburetor. Well I soaked EVERY part there was in the carb in a gallon of carb cleaner and scubbed it with a tooth brush to get it all nice and clean and free of charcole so to say. Then my dad put it all back together and I put it on hooked everything up to it.

After that my dad got it fired up, adjusted the floats, and made it idle with out it dieing. I drove it on sunday for the first time in a month and she ran good.... kinda. She runs good just normal driving, but I can't floor it.

And well yesterday my Daily driving honda accord, well I blew the tranny out on that. Nice hole in the bottom of it.

So I tried starting my car today, and it didn't start. I had just bought new spark plug wires because I knew mine were on there last legs. After she wouldn't start today, I knew i was getting fuel, but not spark. So I threw on thos wires and guess what? Fired RIGHT up. Took me about 30 minutes of warm up to drive it, and I still can't floor it because my dad needs to adjust the timing.

Every time I "get on it" the car back fires and sputters and crap so I can't floor it. But none the less, it runs good for what does stand for. So tonight my dad adjusts the timing tunes in the carb a little more, and i'll be running laps around my buddy's 94 stock GT.
