I figure that some of the inner lip on the body needed to be folded out of the way? When I checked on my 68
if the inside of the wheel was near the spring, it would hit the body first towards the front of the wheel.
Was there any metalwork done on the inner fender?
Those wheels look awesome on the car. Looks like the rules on what can fit under the rear of a 67/68
have been adjusted...........

You are right that lip right by the frame protrudes.
The inner wheelhouse was moved inboard about 1" just enough that all the interior trim will fit (I hope)
Measurments say that it should all fit back in. There are some pics on the website;
