Horns & High beam indicator light

Horns & High beam indicator light
Has anyone had problems with their horns not workin' and figured out how to fix them? Also, I just got through replacing all the bulbs in my instrument panel and all seem to be workin except for the highbeam indicator. I stuck a tester to the wires that lead to the bulb and there is no current. I checked all the fuses. What else could it be? Thanks for any advice.

RE: Horns & High beam indicator light
The horns may need adjusting. There are little screws in the back of each one that you screw in/out to change tension on something to get the voltage in the horns right. I found it easiest when you just have someone sit on your horn for you while you screw them in/out until it's set right.

RE: Horns & High beam indicator light
i have a 64 1/2 setup hotns that I troubleshooted from start to finish. nearly everything was dead in that circuit.
Got it goinjg though. Unfortunately this setup is totally different to the 65s.
the very first thing to test though is if the horns themselves actually do work.
The horns are attached to the chassis, which gives them ground (battery -). So there's only one cable leading to each horn which should carry + when you beep.
So to test pull of the lead, make sure that lead doesn't touch ground anywhere and then get a cable and connect battery+ to the connector at the horn (just temporarly). You should here it beep.
Test both. Let us know the result and we;'ll go from there.
if it's any help, here are the wiring diagrams:

as for the high beam indicator:
1. do the high beams work?
2.take out the bulb of the high beam indicator, measure resistance (OHM) over the bulb. If very little ohm (towards 0), bulb ok.
if infinite->bulb needs replacing.
