Default C-4 Pan Question

I have an original c-4 auto tranny in my 67. 2 years back I changed my pangasket etc. Im getting a small leak on my garage floor when the car sits for more then a week. Just a few drops nothing major. Should I switch out the pan and gasket or should I just leave it untill it takes a turn for the worst. Only reason I asked was some people, when they doflush and a pan change, their tranny istoast after words. Some say they were better off dealing with the small leak.

Since its only been 2 years and MAYBE 1000 miles since I changed the gasket,im thinking the worst if I try to make the fix and upgrade the pan.

Leak could be pan gasket or somewhere else (vent tube, cooler lines, fill tube, etc.). I would not let changing fluid influence your decision. If you just changed 2 years ago and 1000 miles if you did not have a problem then you won't now. I kept chasing a tranny leak and turned out to be the fill tube ring. But in any case, if it's a small amount when sitting I would not sweat it.

You might want to just clean it up with a litle brake clean and let it sit for a while and see if you can out the location of the leak.
