Alright Racin and Texas....
Imay be a little high on the estimate.....
But a tranny or tranny/clutch will still be needed, chances are whatever trany will need a rebuild, or a new clutch, I say $400 to $800 here...
A used radiator would be way iffy.... $200 to $300... for new...
Nuts, bolts, clips, hoses, belts, motor mounts, air cleaner, ignition wires, fuel pump, new alternator, and lots of other stuff we really don't think about when making a swap like this... $???... Yea alot of expendable items might need to be changed even if the 6 stayed, but not all at one time!
I concede that my $4,000 estimate is high for the thrifty builder... but I still think that anything less than $2,500 isa littleoptimistic!

That's why I strongly urge anyone considering the swap buy a parts car. My lovely wife allowed me to keep the ugly POS in the driveway (under a cover) for about 2 months, allowing me time to get everything I needed from it. I printed out the list in the FAQ and used it as a guide for what I needed. I got way more for $100 (net) than I deserved to get.
