i took down the old pics, the quality was bad. i took some better ones today

You can use the pulley, bracket and timing cover off you old motor, use the balanceroff the 89. Get a front sump oil pan and plug the existing dipstick hole in the block, use the dipstick in the timing cover and run mechanical fuel pump. Use a 70 water pump and keep the original radiator. If you have the ac bracket for your 70 motor, it will work too.

Are you certain?There was throttle body injection as early as 1980 on some 302's. 87-93 5.0's were all fuel injected unless I'm mistaken.
everything was CARBED up until 1986. 86 was the last year of 4 eyes and first year of efi. then the last year of 5.0 is 95. this is all common mustang knowledge.
