Hello All,

I'm new to this forum and new to Mustangs but I have always loved them and now have the pleasure of restoring a 1965 Coupe. I would like to add rear seat lap belts but I can't seem to find any information on where the holes should be drilled. Does anyone have a picture or diagram? Anything would be better than purely guessing

Here's what you're looking for. This is my '66. The seat belt anchor bolt head on the right is covered with undercoating but the middle bolt is shiney.

im guessing you just worded it differently, but be sure that you thread the bolt holes too. you will need a threading kit.

If you are going through all that trouble, why not just add 3 point belts. The shoulder belt anchors in the trunk, and goes through the edge of the package tray.
