<img border="0" src=smileys/smiley8.gif border="0"> Hi, Realtivtavely new to mustangs, I am going to get a 67 fastback and use the Eleanor kit on it but I had a really big question. Will I have to put my baby away during the winter or will I be able to drive year round.<img border="0" src=smileys/smiley11.gif border="0"> <edited><editID>aceytech</editID><editDate>37902.8785532407</editDate></edited>

Well if it gets wet it will shrink. What kind of a question is this. If you have wiper blades and a defroster and a heater sure you can drive it in the winter rain and snow or even icy roads with salt on them. This would not be the best idea but it is equal to your question. Rain, snow, ice and salted roads equal RUST!!!! if you don't mind a rusted car drive it year round. If you plan on keeping your car looking good I would have to say keep it graged year round and only drive on sunny days. I keep mine garaged all the time expect for weekend cruises or car shows, but i also have two daily drivers. You are the only one who can choose if iyou drive it year round there is no laws saying you can't. Sorry to have sounded rude but you must admit it is a strange question.

My question is, why would you even consider driving a car with such value when restored in the winter <IMG src=smileys/smiley11.gif border="0"></P>
I bet Aqua wouldn't let someone open a packet of salt inside his car in fear of moisture & spilt salt creating rust heh.</P>

Thats a good one. <IMG src=smileys/smiley4.gif border="0">Hell I don't like washing because it gets wet. My car never see water inless its out of a hose. My car lives in my garage, ifI could afford one of those car bubbles for it I would keep it in that also. My car is 100% rust free and it will stay that way as long as I own it.<IMG src=smileys/smiley10.gif border="0"></P>

This all depends on the conditions your car is exposed too. Salted wet roads driven on all winter long I would say major rust damage would take hold in 2-3 year. </P>

If you absolutely have to drive it in the winter because it is your only form of transportation, I highly recommend blizzack WS50'S.<edited><editID>Sean</editID><editDate>37903.9006365741</editDate></edited>
