Default new grille into 65

Has anyone heard or seen any posts on trying to fit an 05-08 gt grille into a classic mustang like a 1965? i'm going to try my best to make this work in the next couple of weeks or months.

+1, Why would you ruin a Mustang like that?

i really love the clean look of the new grille with the fog lights and emblem. The dimensions seem to be similar and I really think this could be a good look.

Personally, if you like it so much, just buy a 05-08 Mustang and be done with it. But, in the spirit of fabrication: It’s going to cost you a ton, but I guess it could [/i]be done. I highly doubt it’s the same dimensions. Nothing is really the same mounting-wise either. But, where there’s a will, there’s a way. $$ is the way J

Just buy a Billet grille for your car.

In the most recent Mustang Monthly magazine they have an article on installing an 05-08 grill kit in a 66 coupe. I also saw an add in the mag from KAR for a 05-08 grill kit that fits 65-66 for 600 some dollars.
