Default Shipping Car across US

I need to ship my 1967 mustang across the US, from VA to CO. I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations as to a company that I should use? Or does anyone know of a company that I should NOT use.

Thanks,
Larry.

Check those guys out. We use them sometimes to work on our cars and one time my mom talked to a guy about his towing stuff. He said he is one of the best known guys in the transport industry and he transports high end and celebrity cars sometimes. As you can see on the "equipment" page he has transported an Enzo. He said he carried a gun for that one and was freaking out the whole way...

If that doesnt work out google automotive transport and you will get a few websites that could help,

Good Luck!

where are you moving in CO?

Check out some local specialty companies who may specialize in certain types of cars. These companies quite often make runs all over the country to pickup car they bring back to strip down for the parts. I was being quoted 2800 to 3400 to have my car shipped from NJ to the Canadianborder (550 miles)! Found a companies dealing with Honda Civics in Halifax, NS Canada. They were planning a trip down into the US and quoted me 750.00 direct to Halifax (1000 miles).

Aside from that best price received on 2 different pickup locations in the US to NJ was from National Transport. Friendly people on the phone and prices were the best I got from any of the larger companies. Beware of smaller companies who don't actually do anything but take your order and farm it out to 2, 3, 4 or more drivers going from point to point. You really have no idea if they are covered against damage to your car or not.. or if you'll ever actually receive your car!

Good luck! I spent 5 weeks looking before I finally found our shipper.

Well is money an issue? Or are you looking for an enclosed carrier?
About a year ago I had my 67 mustang shipped from Ormen Utah to Portage Michigan (about 1500 miles) for 445 dollars. It only took 2 days for the car to get picked up, and delivered.

It was all around perfect, the driver that delivered it, benny he was hillarious.
