Default Full length rear frame rails

Looking for any advice on replacing both rear rails from the torque box back. Any tips or suggestions, do's or don'ts, tools, jigs, etc.
thanks

Default RE: Full length rear frame rails

I elected to replace the entire clip in lieu of the frame rail due to labor to drill out all of the spot welds in the existing rails. If you insist on doing this, put the car on a rotissere, turn it upside down and then support the car from underneath. You may need to remove the rotissere from the rear so you can get a better fit on the replacement rails. BTW those rails are about 300 bucks each, last I looked. (I bought the clip for 350). Hope this helps!
