Default another challenge.

In the spirt of another link on here, I have been challenged by a friend with a wrx.
Nice car its quick but we will see.
He may get me thru some turns but then again havent seen him drive all that well. No idea what a apex is or how to set speed before you enter the turn. Should be fun hes a gearhead @ heart just no idea on wrenching.

I dont know the diff but his is the fast one and he has dropped some cash to get it where it is.
He holds his own with the fast lil evo things.
He has a bigger intercooler and some mapping work done. We are both looking into the methanol /alcohol injection kits.

Yeah its the 347 s/c 66. Hoping the old stang does well. It is scary sitting @ idle right now.
Whole car just Jumps with the quickest flick of the throttle no hesitation @ all.
323 gears with the 9" tracloc. Counting on the spec clutch and Kiesler tko to work well with this combo.

Thing is not a grudge match, May be helping me get some things done on mine to get it rolling in a few weeks.
Looks like we have about the same amount of money in our cars. Hes trying to get me in the road race runs.
Im just trying to get it to the year one event this year.

I agree with ninteen66, you'll get raped if you're doing a road course, but if it'll be at the track you'll being win by a long shot. Good luck!

If it is an STi, he has dropped some cash in the motor, and he knows how todrive his car... you will NOT win by a "long shot."

If the above info is correct then that STi is a low 12 second car at worst. I know this because I have an EVO and the two are pretty much similar

So if your car is a sub 12 second car then yes you will win by a long shot.

It'll depend on how the 347 is built. Most decent 347's are capable of putting a light car like a Fox/Classic Mustang into the 11's on street tires(if set up well). 347 + blower if built right should be a low11/high 10 second car on street tires without too much difficulty. It's also gonna depend on how the STi is set up as well, could be the STi winning big, could be the Mustang winning big, could be close. I'd like to know more about both the cars.
