carb help??

Default carb help??

starting off my car acts like theres trash in the carb and doesnt want to go but once i get going its fine. as soon as i stop at a red light she acts like she wants to die but once i start going its fine. can anyone help me ?

Maybe the filter, I had 2 on my old ride it was a 2 barrel.
1 in line and a small one in the carb behind the fuel inlet.

i have a new filter on it. i tried to put a after market one on and caught my car on fire so i took it off. also when i first start my car it doesnt want to start. my friend said to check my battery terminals for a loose end.

Too much resistance on your battery cables maybe? Are they getting hot?

not at all. i got plastic covers on the ends so corrosion wont form
