Default Gun the engine and step on break, engine dies

When I Gun the engine, either on a hill orat a top,and step on break real quick, theengine dies. But sometimes where it sounds like it will die, i gun it some more and it works. Is there a timming issue? or is this normal?

Thanks!!!

My experience with this is usually it means that you have a vacuum leak in the line or in your booster if you have a break booster, or at the manifold where the vacuum lines hook up.
