Clay it, make sure the valve dont hit the piston, if so, notch where needed

can someone inform me if this size cam would have any problems. would it work fine on stock 2v heads. only mods with the cam would be around a 650-750 carb and dual plane intake. any suggestions as to how much power a bigger cam such as this adds?

thats awfully big on a stock motor man.. i would go something a little smalleryour not gunna see a ton of difference with such a big lobe seperation.. if you go with a decent size cam you will see more performance than a huge cam...

Gears and a good intake and it'll work well, provided you have the right compression.

What else are you doing to the car?

Slapping a big cam in an other wise stock car is by far the easiest way to build the text book "man my car is such a dog".

For a large cam like that you need:
Springs (not just lifters)
Non-stock intake
Larger stall converter (if auto)
Non-stock 2.8 gears in the rear
Slightly higher than stock compression

What is the performance goal you are trying to reach? It seems you want a street car, will the use be daily driver? Weekend fun? What is the budget.

What has been recomended about claying is recommended because if you don't take the head of fand confirm a high lift long duration cam will not contact your piston you run the risk of blowing the whole thing up.
